In a digital world that is becoming increasingly interconnected, the value of networking has never been more evident. Two visionary minds, Upashruti Agrawal and Tanjeria Crite, embarked on a journey to revolutionize the way people connect and build meaningful relationships. Their brainchild, Spherical, was born from their personal experiences and a deep understanding of the power of networking, particularly during their time as MBA students. Their mission? To create a more connected world where genuine interactions and lasting relationships thrive.
Having experienced the challenges and rewards of networking, Agrawal and Crite were motivated to find a solution that would empower individuals to forge authentic connections. Understanding that while networking holds incredible potential, the duo works to find solutions to its plentiful barriers. Conversational hurdles and the difficulty of maintaining relationships hindered many from fully embracing the benefits of networking. By catering to MBA students, Spherical focuses on empowering young professionals who are eager to expand their horizons.
Spherical’s unique approach tackles multiple aspects of networking, setting it apart from the competition. The platform assists users in meeting like-minded individuals by breaking down conversational barriers and promoting natural interactions. Additionally, it provides intuitive tools to help users maintain these newfound connections, ensuring that relationships are nurtured over time.
Unlike other solutions that focus on individual aspects of networking, Spherical offers a holistic approach. It seamlessly integrates meetings, organization, and post-interaction communication, consolidating these elements into one accessible platform. By centralizing these features, Spherical streamlines the process and encourages users to prioritize quality over quantity in their networks.
When asked about why they applied to Jumpstart, Crite shared that “As MBA students, we wanted to gain a holistic understanding of various business disciplines through the hands-on practice of building our own company. The experience has been invaluable not only to our education but, the growth of our startup.” Agrawal went on to add how, “With dedicated time to focus on Spherical, we were able to delve deep into our idea without the distractions of other responsibilities. Furthermore, having access to resources and mentorship provided by The Garage has allowed us to refine our vision and execute on it.”
Spherical, founded by Agrawal and Crite, is a testament to the power of networking and innovation. By addressing the challenges of networking head-on and providing a comprehensive solution, Spherical is poised to transform the way individuals connect and cultivate meaningful relationships in our increasingly interconnected world. As the platform continues to evolve, it has the potential to leave a lasting impact on how we approach networking, both in our personal and professional lives.
