Northwestern students can apply to gain access to work within 1871, Chicago’s largest startup incubator. Engineers, innovators, and entrepreneurs building Chicago’s next tech ventures work within the large space located inside the Merchandise Mart.

Through Northwestern’s partnership with 1871, students can request access to the following 1871 resources:

  • Events and Workshops
  • Pyros curriculum
  • Onsite Access (General Area and Conference Room Space)
  • 1871 Mentors
mHUB

mHUB exists to ensure that the Midwestern manufacturing industry continues to accelerate, grow and thrive. They are the nation’s largest and fastest-growing innovation center focused on physical product development and manufacturing. By providing the right resources, mentorship, and access to manufacturing industry insiders, mHUB helps early-stage innovators go from prototype to product to sustainable business, driving a greater likelihood of success.

Northwestern and The Garage have a partnership to offer mHUB’s resources to students working on entrepreneurial projects.
